Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Continuing Education Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs in critical care nursing, ensuring that learners meet the course objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging classroom sessions and online learning materials.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator/Program Facilitator and Continuing Education Manager to ensure program success.
- Monitor learner progress and provide feedback and support as needed.
- Review course materials and ensure compliance with Michener quality standards.
- Supervise the delivery of assessment activities and maintain course quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of current or recent critical care nursing experience.
- Prior teaching or preceptorship experience.
- Current Critical Care Nursing certification with the Canadian Nurses Association.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Additional Requirements:
Vaccines (COVID-19) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
