Job Title: Concrete Floor Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Floor Finisher to join our team at Superior Foundations Limited.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete floors, working closely with our construction team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure even density
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Imparting a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dusty and noisy environment, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints
