Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead our food service team at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service meet our customers' expectations.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and leading a team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensure that all staff are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Train Staff: Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills, promote a positive work environment, and foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that food and service meet the highest standards, address customer complaints, and provide feedback to staff.
Work Setting:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, standing for extended periods, and interacting with customers, staff, and management. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the food service industry.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This is a full-time position with a 37.5-hour workweek, requiring flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range is estimated based on industry standards, location, and job requirements.
