About the Role

We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our team. As a Solution Architect, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution focuses on aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, focuses on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive application solutions that address business needs and challenges.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for application development projects.
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and Digital teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle, from initial concept through to implementation and support.
  • Design and oversee the integration of new applications with existing systems and software.
  • Ensure application solutions are optimized for performance and user experience.
  • Ensure application architectures comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of demonstrated relevant experience in Pharma R&D Space (Clinical operations preferred).
  • Direct experience implementing/consulting on known Life Sciences technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in specific area of digital capability (Veeva R&D Vault).
  • Experience with Veeva configuration and implementation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in software development with expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python), databases/data lakes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of architectural principles and design patterns, microservices, API design, and development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
