About the Role

Socotra, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Software Development Intern. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of our software solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software applications to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project needs
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support software development
  • Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to existing software applications
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a university in Canada
  • Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for software development and a desire to learn and grow with the company
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
