Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist, Medical Imaging, FTT to join our dynamic team at North York General Hospital. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing imaging examinations in Computed Tomography, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging examinations in Computed Tomography, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians, providing excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the Radiologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assume operational responsibility, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • BCLS certification an asset.
  • Post-graduate experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Membership with the CAMRT is recommended.
  • Experience in CT and Angiography is an asset.
  • Post-graduate courses in CT and Angiography is an asset.
  • Must have IV and contrast injection experience an asset.
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
