Retail Store Supervisor Role at The Great Glass Elevator Candy Shop
We are seeking a skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at The Great Glass Elevator Candy Shop. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary tools and training to succeed.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that products are easily accessible and well-organized.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Work Environment:
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring excellent time management and organizational skills. The role will involve standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet customer demands.
