Job Title: Occupational Therapist

EHN Canada is a leading provider of mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment services. We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to clients with mental health issues, including trauma and mood disorders. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote client recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' occupational performance and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, including case management and advocacy
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and professional liability insurance
  • Recent experience working with mental health populations, particularly those with trauma and mood disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and healthcare professionals
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records
