Treasury Finance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Specialist to join our Corporate team at Harris Computer. As a key member of our finance and accounting team, you will be responsible for providing support in a wide range of financial functions.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations, reconciling the bank statement against the general ledger and assigned clearing accounts.
- Journal Creation: Responsible for creating journals for bank account transactions.
- Disbursement Administration: Administer disbursement files from various business units and corporate departments.
- Payment Processing: Create EFT payments through our online banking platform.
- Treasury Inbox Management: Monitor the Treasury inbox for requests and inquiries.
- Record Keeping: Maintain proper records and documentation.
- Financial Analysis: Understand divisional operations and their impact on financial results.
- Team Support: Provide support to the Finance team and business unit leadership.
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects as needed.
- Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate potential issues with recommendations to the Treasury Manager.
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting.
- Education: Post-secondary education with a focus on business or accounting.
- Skills: Organized and detail-oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook), ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Great Plains, previous bank reconciliation experience.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 per year.
