About the Role

Mitel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury Analyst to support the treasury function by focusing on treasury analytics, covenant reporting, and borrowing base reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor financial covenants and other requirements as stipulated in loan agreements.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with covenant terms.
  • Calculate and report on borrowing base availability in accordance with credit agreements.
  • Prepare detailed borrowing base certificates and ensure timely submission to lenders.
  • Maintain accurate records of collateral and borrowing base calculations.
  • Document treasury processes, including cash management, borrowing base calculations, and risk management procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations related to treasury activities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide documentation and support during audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage daily cash positions to ensure adequate liquidity.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing cash management and investment strategies.
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage accounts, fees, and services.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to cash management, investments, and covenant compliance.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and systems.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in treasury operations.
  • Assist in the implementation of treasury-related projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a treasury or finance-related role.
  • Experience with covenant compliance, borrowing base reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems and financial software is preferred.
