Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Truck Mistri Electromechanical Experts Inc. as a Commercial Vehicle Specialist.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to work on commercial transport truck systems, ensuring they are in top working condition. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, diagnosing faults, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions;
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems;
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units;
  • Discuss work with supervisor and review work orders;
  • Test automotive systems and components;
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service;
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements;
  • Provide customer service.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of commercial transport truck systems and mechanics;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor tasks.
