CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our procurement and contracting team, you will be responsible for providing life cycle management of projects contracts from creation to close-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute procurement best practices for sourcing activities, ensuring compliance with COIMS, Procurement Policy, and all relevant regulations.
  • Develop project-specific contracting strategies and execution plans in support of gate reviews and project execution.
  • Provide oversight of engineering and procurement contractors in managing project contracting activities.
  • Execute pre-award activities for main project services, including developing EOI/RFI and evaluation criteria, coordinating bidder prequalification, and developing bid evaluation criteria and plans.
  • Develop commercial compensation structures for scope of work and conform request for proposals.
  • Issue RFPs, manage the bid process, and coordinate evaluation and negotiation activities.
  • Prepare award recommendations and route for financial and commit authority approvals.
  • Issue awards, onboard contractors, and coordinate kick-off meetings.
  • Conform contracts and route for execution by authorized personnel.
  • Prepare contracts briefs and execute post-award contracts management.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline.
  • Master's degree in engineering, project management, or business administration is an asset.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience on projects.
  • Background in oil and gas projects.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, technical and analytical skills, and ability to adapt to changing project environments.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to drive best value and mitigate commercial risks.
