Job Summary

CHAHAL BROS TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicle: Operate and maintain the tractor-trailer, performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Obtain Permits and Documents: Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Record and Report: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid driver's license.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with CHAHAL BROS TRANSPORT, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring overtime and physical demands. You will be required to sit for extended periods and wear steel-toed safety boots.
