Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for diesel mechanics and management?

We're seeking a highly skilled Diesel Shop Manager to join our team at First Student Canada.

As a Diesel Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our diesel shop, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and supervising shop activities to ensure optimal productivity
  • Making recommendations for facility upgrades and participating in the annual capital budgeting process
  • Setting shop budget and conducting monthly reviews with the Location Manager
  • Maintaining the branch fleet to government and company requirements
  • Overseeing brake, safety, and PM inspections
  • Monthly reporting to the Regional Maintenance Manager

We're looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of supervisory or fleet management experience, knowledge of VMS or similar fleet maintenance systems, and strong communication, organizational, and management skills.
