We are currently seeking a highly professional Licensed Healthcare Professional to work in various long-term and acute care facilities in the Port Dover area.

This role offers an opportunity to earn above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation, making it an attractive option for those looking for a stable income.

Shifts would be early morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

The successful candidate will provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice. They will utilize sound nursing principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.

To ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, the ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive orientations to the home and services offered. Resident transfers and discharges will also be handled in a timely and safe manner.

In addition to their clinical expertise, the Licensed Healthcare Professional must possess strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They must also have effective communication skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key requirements for this role include active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, ability to work with persons with infectious diseases, BLS certificate, valid first aid & CPR certification, current immunizations, and a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

A reliable individual who can adapt to changing circumstances is essential for success in this position. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible shift times, including eight or twelve hours in length, and be willing to float between units within a hospital if needed.
