Job Title: CAD & Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced CAD & Design Manager to join our team at 2K Games. As a CAD & Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our sports games, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and authenticity.

About the Role

The CAD & Design Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and development of our sports games, including the creation of game mechanics, levels, and characters.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and art, to ensure that the game meets the desired quality and authenticity standards.
  • Developing and maintaining the game's design vision, including the creation of design documents, prototypes, and playtesting plans.
  • Managing the design team, including hiring, training, and mentoring designers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and applying this knowledge to improve the game's design and development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in game design and development, with a focus on sports games.
  • Experience leading design teams and managing design projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • A passion for sports and sports games, with a deep understanding of the industry and its trends.
