- Document all work performed on vehicle repair orders, maintaining consistency with OEM standards.
- Maintain an inventory of common automotive technician tools and stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins.
- Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue.
- A provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate (310S), completed or in process.
- Red Seal Certification is considered an asset.
- Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and a safe driving history.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Indoor/outdoor shop environment with varying temperatures and physically demanding work.
- Regular exposure to fumes, dust, oil, grease, and noise from equipment operation.
- Work around and operate machinery and other motorized equipment.
- Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
