About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technician Apprentice to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the latest tools and technologies, providing top-notch service to our customers and setting the stage for a bright future in the booming automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute front-end brake services, shocks, and wheel alignments with precision and attention to detail.
  • Safely perform tire removal, installation, and repair for passenger and light truck vehicles, including removing wheel assemblies, dismounting and mounting tires, balancing, inflating, and reinstalling tires.
  • Diagnose tire issues, evaluate reparability, and apply appropriate repair methods.
  • Assist and perform mechanical inspections and services, including work order procedures, alignment, flush machines, and oil lube and filter service.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, consistently surpassing each client's expectations.

Requirements

  • Completion of Automotive Technician Program or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a desire to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the day.
  • Motivated, positive attitude, respectful work environment, and develop team members in a positive atmosphere.
