Software Development Team Lead

BroadSign is a leading software company that makes buying, selling, and delivering out-of-home media easier than ever. We're looking for a skilled Software Development Team Lead to join our team and help us achieve our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume ownership for the successful development and delivery of BroadSign's products while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
  • Provide technical and team leadership to an agile team through coaching and mentorship.
  • Guide the team's development efforts toward technical excellence and successful project delivery.
  • Work with engineering leadership and product managers to develop project and resource plans/schedules.
  • Partner with HR on team staffing decisions, including hiring, performance management, and corrective measures as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a software developer role.
  • Ability to lead a team through continuous learning techniques.
  • Understanding of various coding methods and computer languages.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Language Requirements

Fluent English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, clients, and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec. Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.
