We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at Jonas Software UK. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting and forecasting process for our European businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the local teams on accounting, financial reporting, transactional processes, tax, audit, treasury, and forecasting.
  • Review and ensure businesses are appropriately applying IFRS and CSI accounting policies while ensuring accurate and timely financial close and quarterly disclosure.
  • Lead and support the Group Leader, Business Managers on quarterly forecast revisions by maintaining a reliable financial model.
  • Lead the statutory compliance calendar for sales and corporate tax and annual audit requirements.
  • Be the lead coordinator for the business to portfolio resources in Legal, Tax, HR, and Corporate Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • CPA designation.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience, post designation.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience in public assurance and/or financial reporting within the software industry.
  • Industry experience leading accounting for European entities is strongly considered an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and IFRS guidance.
  • In-depth experience applying IFRS 15 to significant commercial transactions.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to read and communicate in French, German, and/or Spanish an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with ability to set priorities to meet deadlines.
