University of Niagara Falls Canada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Campus Experience Coordinator to join our Student Success Office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging experiences that foster a sense of community and belonging among students.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can design and implement programs and activities that promote student engagement, retention, and success. As a Campus Experience Coordinator, you will work closely with the Student Success Team to create and facilitate events, workshops, and initiatives that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the UNF programming calendar, ensuring a diverse range of events and activities that cater to different student populations.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to develop integrated approaches to support at-risk students and serve as a referral point for students in need.
  • Provide front-line student support, addressing queries and concerns, and making referrals as necessary.
  • Assist students in the club ratification process and act as a liaison between clubs and university administration.
  • Participate in a weekly rotation on the information desk, providing comprehensive support to students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field.
  • Experience in student life programming, preferably at the post-secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and cooperation with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound professional judgment, especially in handling confidential/sensitive matters.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, with a quick learning ability for new programs.
