Job Title: Labourer - Material Handling

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Labourer - Material Handling to join our team at Darwin Event Group. As a Labourer - Material Handling, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Picking orders and stocking
  • Providing customer service
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory
Requirements:
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
