Job Title: Material Handling Labourer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handling Labourer to join our team at Darwin Event Group.

Job Summary:

The Material Handling Labourer will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina, be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs), and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Picking orders and stocking
  • Providing customer service
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory
Requirements:
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Dollies and hand trucks
  • Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts
  • Pallet lifters
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
