Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities may include:
- Auditing industrial facilities and developing preliminary engineering designs and estimates for electrical and control system upgrades.
- Completing electrical control and instrumentation system design, including P&ID drawings, control system architecture, and instrumentation systems.
- Designing, programming, and configuring DCS and PLC/HMI applications.
- Preparing and evaluating tender and construction packages, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Performing protection and control systems design and settings, as well as system checkout, testing, and commissioning.
We're looking for candidates with the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:
- Graduate of a bachelor's or diploma program in electrical engineering (or similar).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering.
- Experience in pulp & paper is an asset.
- Resourceful, self-managed, and goal-driven, with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (English).
- Registered as an EIT/ or AScT in British Columbia is an asset.
- Practical knowledge of North American standards.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (typically 5-20%).
Other valued skills, abilities, and experience include:
- Consulting engineering experience.
- Commissioning, construction, and start-up experience.
Salary range: $80,000 – $120,000; based on a 40-hour work week.
