We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our care team as a Registered Nurse - Care Team Leader. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate daily care delivery to ensure high-quality, resident-focused care.
- Collaborate with the Director of Care and other team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide clinical support and guidance to care staff, including LPNs and RCA staff.
- Ensure compliance with established standards, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current practicing license with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Successful annual RAI competency testing.
- Additional training and experience in the care of the frail elderly and physically and mentally handicapped persons.
- Valid OFA2 certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in the English language.
- Recent related clinical practice experience within the last five years.
