As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting disease screening, and participating in community needs assessment. Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and conduct disease screening
  • Participate in community needs assessment and develop community programs
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Conduct research activities related to nursing
  • Manage home care cases and operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
  • Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
  • Perform administrative tasks and maintain certifications and licenses
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Geriatrics specialization
