Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Hire and train food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels and supply chain management.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
    • Be physically demanding and require standing for long periods of time.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and supervision.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Physically demanding, requiring standing for long periods of time.
