About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategy Specialist to join our team at Manulife Insurance Malaysia. As a key member of our Financial Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and resolving discrepancies in our general ledger.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support operational staff in implementing appropriate accounting controls and financial administration to ensure the transmission of accurate data to all our financial systems.
  • Examine and analyze accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform coding adjustments as necessary, or provide guidance on coding adjustments to ensure resolution.
  • Coordinate, analyze, and comment on monthly billing control reports for Administrative Services Only (ASO) only.
  • Document procedures and training in the Ondexx service manual.
  • Provide expertise for special projects and external audits.
  • Offer support for our Quality Assurance program.
Requirements
  • Establish and maintain excellent internal relationships to respect or exceed our service standards, and seek opportunities to enhance controls and quality.
  • Be a champion of risk awareness by testing the effectiveness of existing controls and contributing to the development of new controls as needed.
  • Have the ambition and curiosity to discover ways to use the Agile method and contribute to achieving the expected results of the Company.
  • Excellent knowledge of the collective insurance domain, focused on Administrative Services Only.
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite and ability to quickly learn the operation of new applications.
  • Sharp analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities or conflicting priorities and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
