Job Summary

As a Climate Control Service Technician, you will play a critical role in increasing customer satisfaction by performing preventive maintenance and making repairs on equipment. You will also be responsible for delivering and installing climate control-related equipment as needed, ensuring proper working condition and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Dismantle, reassemble, and rebuild equipment as required
  • Deliver and install climate control-related equipment
  • Diagnose and repair standard mechanical equipment problems
  • Fabricate parts as needed
  • Perform regular and service-level safety inspections on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Meet all company, governmental, and equipment-specific safety requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum Gas Technician G2 certificate
  • Minimum of one to three years' experience in a related field
  • Sound technical knowledge of propane and NG appliances, equipment, and plant operations
  • Oil burning equipment knowledge an asset, willing to train
  • Valid driver's license with three years' experience and clean driving abstract
  • DZ driver's license an asset, willing to train
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically mobile computing devices
