Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician - Climate Control Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our climate control equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on climate control equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operation.
- Deliver and install climate control equipment as needed, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions for our customers.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment problems, utilizing technical knowledge and expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support equipment maintenance and repair.
- Conduct regular safety inspections on equipment and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Meet all company, governmental, and equipment-specific safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum Gas Technician G2 certificate.
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience in a related field.
- Sound technical knowledge of propane/ng appliances, equipment, and plant operations.
- Oil burning equipment knowledge an asset, willing to train.
- Valid driver's license with three (3) years' experience and clean driving abstract.
- DZ driver's license an asset, willing to train.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically mobile computing devices.
- Liquid propane fitter (LP certificate) and asset, willing to train.
- Construction Heater Service and maintenance technician 1 (CH-SM1 certificate) and asset, willing to train.
