Chef Job Description

Pizza Pizza - Regent St. Fredericton is seeking a skilled Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are equipped to handle food preparation and cooking tasks.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a flexible schedule of 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
