Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-savvy lawyer who can provide expert legal advice and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate and commercial law, including corporate transactions, commercial real estate, and commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal advice and recommendations to clients based on their business needs.
  • Support corporate transactions, including non-arm's length corporate reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Support commercial real estate transactions, including legal due diligence and drafting and negotiation of commercial leases, mortgages, and easements.
  • Draft and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, including service and supply, distribution, licensing, manufacturing, and construction agreements.
  • Working knowledge of the Alberta Business Corporations Act and the Canada Business Corporations Act.
Requirements
  • A member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta, eligible to practice as a lawyer in Alberta.
  • Called to the bar in 2022 or earlier.
