Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction with regard to order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contact current customers to identify new products and potential up-selling opportunities.
  • Respond to and process incoming calls and orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base on current products and learn about new products to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Identify product(s) the customer requires that may not be stocked by Gescan and source the product(s).
  • Provide pricing quotations, follow-up on quotes, and technical support on products.
  • Purchase for direct orders and conduct counter sales.
  • Verify daily orders and fill-in if the shipper/receiver is absent.
  • Responsible for credits/debits, returns, and troubleshooting freight problems, expediting, etc.
Education & Training
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Post-Secondary courses in Sales and/or Marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Experience
  • 3 years related experience.
  • Product knowledge or industry experience preferred.
