CandyBox Marketing is seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Strategist to join our team. As a Senior Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop tailored social media schedules that align with client objectives, audience, and brand identity
  • Create and manage engaging social media content for clients, ensuring alignment with brand voice and objectives
  • Plan and execute content shoots, including sourcing talent, creating shot lists, and producing on-brand visuals
  • Stay current with social trends and insights, applying them to keep campaigns effective and relevant

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, plus benefits including health insurance, quarterly bonuses, and group RRSP participation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years of agency experience or 3-5 years of freelance experience
  • A marketing graduate or relevant experience
  • Familiarity with top social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)
  • Experience in design and content creation
  • Experience filming and editing iPhone content
  • Experience with scheduling platforms (Hootsuite, Later, Soho)
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe products
  • Easily learn new software (reporting, tracking, etc.)
  • Proficient in an Apple and Google Drive environment

  • Develop strategic social media plans that meet diverse client goals, audiences, and industry-specific trends
  • Create high-quality, engaging content across social media channels, maintaining consistent brand voice and quality
  • Manage multiple clients, deadlines, and production schedules efficiently, including coordinating with creative teams for content production
  • Foster and manage positive online communities, engage effectively with audiences, and handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally
  • Analyze data to monitor performance, derive insights, and optimize strategies to improve engagement, reach, and conversions
