Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist to provide service delivery in two of our beautiful northwestern communities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management, and treatment.

About the Role: As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team to provide a variety of treatment modalities to individuals experiencing significant mental health difficulties. You will be required to use a range of techniques, including individual, family, and group therapy, to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing crisis intervention and assessment services to individuals in need
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing
  • Active registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
