**Job Summary**

The Liquor Supervisor is a key role within our retail team, responsible for the overall operation of the Liquor store. This includes sales, delivering exceptional customer service, receiving merchandise, stocking products, cleaning shelves, assisting customers, merchandising and displaying products, creating end cap displays, maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Liquor store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Lead a team of retail staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, receiving, and stocking products, ensuring accurate and efficient processes.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising displays, creating an attractive and engaging store environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Liquor Manager to achieve sales targets, manage budgets, and implement business strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta Liquor Regulations and Legislations, maintaining a high level of knowledge and expertise.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail environment, with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and sales growth.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and other alcohol products.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
