About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Agile Team Facilitator to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Scrum Master Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our agile teams in delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate agile processes and ceremonies, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement and change, acting as a change agent to adapt processes to maximize productivity across work efforts.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify and manage impediments to achieve outcomes of work commitments.
  • Identify agile team improvement opportunities and look externally for best practices to increase team productivity.
  • Ensure team adherence to 'Work In Progress Limits' established by the Product Owner.
  • Encourage team collaboration and engagement, promoting a culture of open communication and mutual support.
  • Coordinate and facilitate ceremony logistics, ensuring all Agile ceremonies/processes are held and all team members are present and on time.
  • Work across the agile team to ensure required assessments and information are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to activities for our business area.
  • Ensure respective policies and practices are well executed, meeting business needs and complying with internal and external requirements.
  • Facilitate work execution aligned to established cost, timing, deliverable, and scope objectives.
  • Adhere to enterprise governance to ensure deliverables meet performance, quality, and compliance standards and follow the approved methodology.
  • Work directly with key stakeholders to remove impediments and help manage cross-team dependencies.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner(s), Technology Lead(s), and Team(s) on Sprint planning, impediment removal, and Team execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements, assessing potential impacts.
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education.
  • Certified Scrum Master and 3+ years of Scrum Master experience.
  • Prefers 5-7 Agile-related experience.
