SNS Health is seeking a skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with network traffic and security monitoring software, as well as server performance optimization. You will also be responsible for implementing data, software, and hardware security procedures, and performing routine network start up and close down and maintaining control records.

In addition, you will be responsible for performing data backups and disaster recovery operations, setting up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and modifying Web pages, applets, and scripts. You will also be responsible for researching and applying meta-data to Websites and registering Websites with search engines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts
  • Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
