The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. They will also implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, perform routine network start-up and close-down, and maintain control records.

In addition, the Network Systems Administrator will be responsible for performing data backups and disaster recovery operations, setting up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implementing network traffic and security monitoring software. They will also optimize server performance, modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, and research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network systems and protocols, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 hours per week
