Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver, Tractor-Trailer to join our team at Trust Logistics Lanka Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of vehicle condition, and ensure regular maintenance and repairs are carried out.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, secure cargo, and ensure the safety and security of transported materials.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues, including driving as part of a two-person team or convoy, and provide coaching and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and any other required certifications.
  • Experience: Have at least 3 years of experience in the field, with a strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding environments, and meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to operate a cellular phone, GPS, and other navigation equipment.
