Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver, Tractor-Trailer to join our team at Trust Logistics Lanka Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of vehicle condition, and ensure regular maintenance and repairs are carried out.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues, provide coaching and guidance, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and any other required certifications.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in tractor-trailer driving, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
