Job Summary

GBi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator in Engineering to join our team in Montréal. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing engineering projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Provide support to project managers and team members as needed.
  • Participate in project meetings, including status updates, progress reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering project coordination or management.
  • Membership in the Order of Engineers of Québec (OIQ) is required.
  • Project management certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French is required, and proficiency in English is an asset.
