Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Nuclear Pressure Boundary Engineer Lead to join our Fuel Handling and Engineered Solutions group in Peterborough, Ontario. This role will involve setting the technical direction for complex mechanical equipment and systems, providing execution and leadership of design/analysis/test/commissioning activities, and preparing project level deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical direction and decisions on design activities, including technical review and verification of documentation and drawings.
- Lead by example, ensuring compliance with processes, industry codes and standards, quality systems, policies, and contractual requirements.
- Contribute to process change through process enhancement and technology introduction to achieve world-class product development and deployment.
- Build customer relationships and ensure market alignment, requiring frequent interaction with external customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional internal teams.
- B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Holds a current PEO license.
- Typically requires 10 years' experience in design engineering in Nuclear, Aerospace, Mining, Oil and Gas, or other highly regulated and process-based design.
- Experience with 3D CAD software and FEA software, as well as knowledge of process system, pressure vessel, or pressure boundary component design.
We offer a competitive salary range of $82,000 to $124,000 per year, depending on local job market factors and individual qualifications. The total compensation package may also include an annual cash incentive and a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
