Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Beaver Transportation Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy trucks and equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose faults in heavy trucks and equipment using computerized testing equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory of replacement components
  • Repair or replace defective parts and ensure all work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment
  • Service attachments and working tools as required
Work Environment

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The job involves bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of heavy truck systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged standing
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
