Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Super 8 Motels. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

About the Job
  • Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure they are clean and safe for guests
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, drapes, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to prevent the spread of germs
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and courteous manner
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to keep our facilities clean and tidy
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a spotless environment
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset
  • Ability to work a standard 40-hour week with some flexibility as needed
  • English language proficiency is required
