Accommodations Manager

Green Gables Inn is seeking a highly skilled Accommodations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our facilities and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff to ensure excellent guest service and a positive work environment.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, ensuring the best possible value for the company.
- Client Relations: Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities, ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring the facilities are well-maintained and safe for guests.
- Guest Services: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional guest service and resolving issues promptly.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
- Newcomer Support: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Youth Employment: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Veteran Support: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
- Indigenous Support: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Visible Minority Support: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
Requirements: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field. Permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language.
