Accommodations Manager Job Description

Green Gables Inn is seeking a highly skilled Accommodations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and be able to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Recruit and hire staff to maintain a high-performing team
  • Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities
  • Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees
  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people
  • Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities
Work Environment:
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
