About The Balmer Hotel

We are a reputable hotel committed to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and clean stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces to prevent dust accumulation
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to keep our public areas clean and tidy
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable sleeping environment for our guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests as needed
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean environment for our guests
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide exceptional customer service
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Repetitive tasks are a regular part of this role, requiring attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling are necessary to perform tasks such as cleaning and dusting
  • Standing for extended periods is required to perform tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning
  • Work Term: Permanent - we offer a stable and secure work environment
  • Work Language: English - we communicate primarily in English, but we welcome applicants who are fluent in other languages
  • Hours: 40 hours per week - we offer a standard full-time schedule
