Job Summary

Community Therapists is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Comox Valley. As a Community-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of funders to assist clients with a range of limitations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional assessments and job site visits to identify client needs
  • Develop graduated activity and return-to-work plans to help clients achieve their goals
  • Liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless care
  • Use exceptional communication, clinical, and organizational skills to deliver outcomes that change people's lives
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is a strong asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
  • Current membership with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC) or eligibility for registration
