Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Table Service: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and handle customer inquiries.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of cleaning products and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
